Clean it up
All images are retouched to clean up stray hairs, blemishes and remove any lights that snuck into the shot.
Convey
Delivery of the final images to your inbox. You'll receive three versions of each image (web, print and social media).
Frequently asked questions
When do I receive my headshots?
Standard turnaround is one week or five business days. Corporate on-location engagements are handled on an individual basis, as the amount of location time can obviously skew the schedule for retouching.
How do I prepare for my session?
Watch your email for my helpful tips and detailed instructions a week before your session.
Where is your studio?
15715 Main St NE in Duvall. We’re in Suite 202, which oddly enough is at the back of the building and on the bottom floor. There’s usually plenty of good parking in the back of the building. If you enter from the front by Rustic Cabin Coffee, you’ll need to go down two different sets of stairs to find us.
What if I'm not photogenic?
Nonsense! We’re all photogenic. Let me work my magic with expression coaching, and you’ll discover a whole new you during our session.
Can I select the background?
Studio sessions are shot on white, gray, or black backgrounds to suit your needs. White represents a clean and clear look, while gray serves a wide range of looks, and black tends to work best with actors and athletes. Other colors are available through a portrait session with our sister company, Templin Photography.
Do you photograph groups?
We can do small groups in-studio with prior coordination. Large groups are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Can you come to our office?
Absolutely! Our whole headshot setup is ready to come to your office. While we’ll certainly come to you for one person, clients often find that the breakeven point is around five employees.
What does retouching mean?
Retouching is the gentle editing of skin, to remove any temporary marks and minor aberrations in both skin and makeup that can be distracting in a headshot. I and my retouching partners all use a light touch and manual methods; it’s not anything like the filters you’ve seen on Instagram.
